Solar Street Light Installation for Safe & Sustainable Rural Communities
GLOBAL STEP SOLUTION FOUNDATION proposes a rural solar street lighting initiative to improve nighttime safety, public visibility and sustainable infrastructure in underserved rural and tea garden communities of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal.
Many rural roads and community areas lack adequate street lighting, creating difficulties for residents, students, women, workers and elderly people during nighttime travel. Through this proposed initiative, we aim to install 150 solar-powered street light systems with complete installation arrangements, including solar panels, LED lights, batteries, mounting poles and necessary accessories.
The project seeks to promote safer public spaces, improve nighttime mobility, strengthen community security and encourage the use of clean and renewable energy.
By bringing sustainable solar lighting to rural communities, we aim to contribute towards better connectivity, improved quality of life and inclusive rural development.
