Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our policies regarding refunds and cancellations for donations.

GLOBAL STEP SOLUTION FOUNDATION is committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible use of funds for charitable and social welfare purposes. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions applicable to membership fees, donations, programme payments, and other authorised payments made to the Foundation. By making a payment to the Foundation, the payer acknowledges that they have read and understood this policy. 1. Membership Fee Refund Policy Membership fees paid to GLOBAL STEP SOLUTION FOUNDATION are generally non-refundable once the membership application has been processed or the membership has been approved. Payment of a membership fee does not guarantee employment, salary, financial assistance, government benefits, project funding, or any other personal benefit. If a membership application is rejected or cancelled by the Foundation, any refund, where applicable, will be considered in accordance with the applicable written policy and law. Refunds may be considered in cases of duplicate payments, payment errors, unauthorised transactions, or other circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law. No member, volunteer, or representative is authorised to promise or guarantee a refund on behalf of the Foundation without proper approval. 2. Donation Refund Policy Donations made to the Foundation are intended to support charitable activities, community development, education, women empowerment, healthcare awareness, rural development, environmental protection, and other approved welfare initiatives. Donations are generally non-refundable once received and processed. Donors are requested to verify the payment amount and payment details carefully before completing a donation. If a donation is made by mistake, paid more than once, or affected by an unauthorised transaction, the donor may contact the Foundation with the relevant transaction details for review. The Foundation will examine genuine refund requests fairly and process any refund that is required by law or approved under its applicable policy. A donation will not automatically become refundable merely because a donor changes their mind, a particular project is delayed, or the donor's personal circumstances change. Where a donation was accepted for a specific purpose, the Foundation will handle the funds in accordance with any accepted donor restrictions, applicable law, and relevant organisational policies. 3. Programme and Event Payment Refunds If the Foundation introduces any paid training programme, workshop, event, or other authorised activity, its specific payment and cancellation conditions may be communicated separately before payment. Where an activity is cancelled by the Foundation, refunds or alternative arrangements will be handled according to the terms communicated for that activity and applicable law. If a participant withdraws voluntarily, the refund, if any, will depend on the programme-specific policy disclosed before registration. No payment should be made to an individual claiming to represent the Foundation unless the payment method has been officially authorised. 4. Duplicate, Incorrect and Unauthorised Transactions The Foundation encourages all payers to retain their payment receipts and transaction reference numbers. If you believe that: You have paid the same amount more than once; The amount deducted is different from the amount intended; A payment was made without your authorisation; or A transaction was completed but the corresponding confirmation was not received, please contact the Foundation as soon as possible. The Foundation will review the available information and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant bank, payment gateway, or authorised service provider. Unauthorised transactions should also be reported promptly to the payer's bank or payment provider. 5. How to Request a Refund To request a review of a payment, please contact the Foundation using the official contact details below. Your request should include: Full name of the payer; Registered mobile number or email address, if available; Date of payment; Amount paid; Transaction ID or payment reference number; Reason for requesting a refund; and Receipt or other supporting proof, where available. Please do not send passwords, PINs, OTPs, or complete payment card details. 6. Refund Review and Processing The Foundation will review each genuine refund request based on the available documents, nature of the payment, applicable policy, and relevant legal requirements. If a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method wherever practicable. The processing time may depend on the bank, payment gateway, or other financial service provider. If additional information is required, the Foundation may contact the payer for clarification. Submission of a refund request does not automatically mean that the refund has been approved. No provision in this policy is intended to deny a refund or remedy that is mandatory under applicable law. 7. Use of Membership Fees and Donations Membership fees, donations, and other authorised payments received by the Foundation will be used for legitimate organisational, administrative, charitable, and social welfare purposes, consistent with the Foundation's objectives, applicable laws, and any accepted restrictions attached to a payment. The Foundation will endeavour to manage funds responsibly and maintain appropriate financial records. 8. Payments Made to Unauthorised Persons The Foundation does not authorise members, volunteers, or other representatives to collect personal payments or make independent financial commitments in the Foundation's name without proper approval. Anyone making a payment should verify the authorised payment details before transferring money. The Foundation will review complaints involving suspected fraud, impersonation, or unauthorised collection of money and take appropriate action where warranted. Responsibility for a particular transaction will be determined by the facts and applicable law. 9. Changes to This Policy The Foundation may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its activities, payment arrangements, or applicable legal requirements. The latest version will be published on the official website with the relevant effective date. 10.
